We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team in Portland, Oregon. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in overseeing and optimizing the accounts receivable processes for a non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing commercial collections, cash applications, and billing functions.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and streamline accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Manage commercial collections, maintaining strong relationships with clients to resolve outstanding balances effectively.
• Oversee cash application processes to ensure proper allocation and reconciliation of incoming payments.
• Coordinate billing functions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Monitor and analyze cash activity to maintain optimal financial health and reporting accuracy.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve accounts receivable performance and reduce aging receivables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and enhance financial workflows.
• Prepare detailed reports and analyses on accounts receivable metrics for leadership review.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and organizational guidelines in all accounts receivable activities.
• Train and mentor team members to maintain high standards of performance and efficiency.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management with a focus on attention to detail.
• Proficiency in cash applications and commercial collections processes.
• Strong knowledge of billing functions and financial operations.
• Ability to analyze cash activity and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Proven experience in mentoring and leading teams to achieve department goals.
