Job Description

Job Description

Optomi, in partnership with our enterprise client, is hiring a Product Designer to support one of the most high-visibility, high-impact areas of their omnichannel journey.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to real products across both web and app platforms—working from ideation to execution—and partnering with top-tier teams across Product, Engineering, and Brand. If you’re energized by complexity, obsessed with customer experience, and excited to see your work come to life at scale, we want to meet you.

What you'll love:

  • You’ll work across the full design lifecycle—brainstorming ideas, validating with real users, refining interactions, and delivering polished, production-ready designs.
  • Your work will directly influence experiences used by millions across web and mobile platforms.
  • Partner with seasoned engineers, product managers, brand clients, and executives to build cohesive, forward-thinking solutions.
  • Join a team with a strong design culture, a robust design system, and an integrated process where design is a strategic partner, not an afterthought.
  • You’ll contribute to key decisions, support senior designers, and own your own features—gaining experience with design systems, research, and advanced prototyping along the way.

What You’ll Do

  • Apply user-centered design principles to craft simple, elegant, intuitive solutions aligned with both business and user goals.
  • Advocate for the customer voice throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Conduct remote user research to validate design concepts and inform UX decisions.
  • Create clear and effective flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes, including documentation of animations and micro-interactions.
  • Collaborate with other designers to deliver cohesive and consistent experiences across our digital platforms.
  • Present your work confidently to cross-functional stakeholders, explaining the rationale behind your design decisions.
  • Design with accessibility and responsiveness in mind, leveraging WCAG 2.0 standards and contributing to our internal design system.
  • Bring a mobile-first mindset, designing for responsiveness and native app behaviors while ensuring parity across platforms.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-6 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or interaction design
  • A portfolio that showcases your design process and results across mobile and web projects
  • Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent), with experience using and contributing to design systems
  • Ability to think strategically, execute quickly, and solve problems using a data-informed and human-centered lens
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and working in a fast-paced, Agile environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—you’re just as comfortable talking to engineers as you are to stakeholders and customers
