Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join their team. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting electrical systems and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Location: DeForest, WI

Pay Range: $83,179 per year ($40/hr)

Shift: Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am (22:00-06:00) 

What's the Job?

• Install electrical components in equipment such as gas mixers, burners, de-ionized water units, air compressors, and lighting systems
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair electrical equipment, circuit boards, transducers, and complex devices
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
• Identify inefficiencies and coordinate with supervisors to resolve electrical issues
• Program logic controls (PLC) to ensure proper equipment operation and assist in designing new electrical procedures

What's Needed?

• Broad training in electronics, typically acquired through an associate's degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of relevant job experience in industrial electrical systems
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, HMI, and industrial networking
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Understanding of safety practices, hazardous material handling, and basic electrical codes (NEC)
