Technical & Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day service operations including dispatching, preventive maintenance programs, emergency calls, and work order tracking.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, permitting processes, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
- Manage inventory and parts procurement; establish vendor and subcontractor relationships for efficient sourcing and labor support.
Business Development
- Drive customer acquisition through outreach, partnerships, and competitive service agreement offerings.
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, P&L oversight, rate-setting, and profitability analysis.
- Assist with quoting and project planning for retrofit and maintenance contract opportunities.
Team Building & People Management
- Recruit, onboard, and lead a service team including technicians, dispatchers, and coordinators.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training to build technical excellence and team culture.
- Manage team performance using KPIs such as response times, customer satisfaction, upselling, and job quality.
Customer & Relationship Management
- Serve as the face of the company for clients, turning first-time customers into long-term partnerships.
- Resolve service issues, warranty disputes, and complaints in a professional, solution-focused manner.
- Build relationships with general contractors, property managers, mechanical contractors, and local referral networks.
What We're Looking ForExperience
- 5–10+ years in commercial HVAC service management, foreman roles, or senior technician leadership.
- Experience launching or scaling service departments strongly preferred.
- Background in managing retrofit projects, special service contracts, or large-scale maintenance portfolios.
