With a reputation for excellence, innovation, and quality, we are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Human Resources Director to lead our HR function during an exciting phase of growth.

The Human Resources Director will be responsible for providing both strategic vision and hands-on execution of all human resources functions. This role is instrumental in driving a high-performance culture, supporting business objectives, and ensuring compliance across our multi-shift, manufacturing-based workforce.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented HR leader with a strong background in manufacturing environments, skilled in balancing big-picture strategy with day-to-day operations, and experienced in leading HR initiatives in organizations.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent strategy.

- Champion the company’s mission, values, and culture throughout all HR initiatives.

HR Operations:

- Oversee all core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training & development, compensation & benefits, and compliance.

- Lead HR initiatives that support scalability, operational excellence, and employee engagement across manufacturing and corporate teams.

- Manage employee lifecycle processes with a focus on continuous improvement and best-in-class service.

Talent Management:

- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in both hourly and salaried roles.

- Build effective onboarding and employee development programs to support growth and reduce turnover.

- Foster a culture of feedback, coaching, and high performance.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure HR practices comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and documentation as needed.

- Partner with Safety and Operations to support health, safety, and wellness programs.

HR Analytics & Reporting:

- Analyze HR metrics and KPIs to guide decision-making and measure effectiveness of programs.

- Prepare and present regular reports on HR outcomes, including turnover, hiring trends, engagement, and DEI progress.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the personal care, cosmetics, or CPG industry.

- Demonstrated ability to lead both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.

- Deep knowledge of employment laws and best practices in employee relations, recruitment, and talent management.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

- Master’s degree or HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP).

- Experience managing HR in a high-growth or private-label manufacturing environment.

- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Physical/Environmental Demands:

- This position operates primarily in a professional office setting, but requires regular interaction with manufacturing, production, and warehouse environments.

- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use hands to operate office equipment (e.g., computer, phone), and communicate clearly via written and verbal methods.

- Occasional walking through manufacturing areas is required; must be able to navigate production floors and observe operations as needed.

- May be exposed to noise, odors, and varying temperature conditions when on the production floor.

- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., moving employee files, training materials).

- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when visiting certain areas of the facility.

What We Offer:

- Competitive salary and bonus opportunity

- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance

- 401(k) with company match

- Generous PTO and paid holidays

- A dynamic and collaborative work environment where innovation and leadership are valued
