Expeditor – Full Time

Location : Duluth, MN

Company : Corner Home Medical

Pay : $18/hour

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

As an Expeditor, you’ll play a key role in our supply chain operations, reporting directly to the Distribution Manager. You’ll ensure timely movement of materials between vendors, suppliers, and internal departments, while assisting Delivery Technicians with truck loading. Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with CHM personnel and management

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers

• Ensure customer satisfaction and uphold CHM’s reputation

• Resolve order inconsistencies

• Tag and shelve equipment properly

• Monitor equipment for wear and tear; report misuse

• Verify and document equipment functionality

• Schedule and track repairs

• Optimize warehouse space and maintain cleanliness

• Organize inventory for quick access

• Keep docks clear and assist across warehouse departments

• Follow safety protocols for lifting and equipment use

• Log serial numbers into company software

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Warehouse, shipping, or delivery experience preferred

• Home health care experience a plus

• Brightree software knowledge (training provided)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to lift heavy items regularly

• Completion of DME training and vendor in-services

• Fluent in English

• Excellent computer and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented, motivated, and team-focused

Physical Demands

This is an active, hands-on role requiring:

• Lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs. (with assistance)

• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.

• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting

• Climbing stairs/ladders and reaching overhead

• Standing/walking for extended periods

• Use of hospital-grade cleaning chemicals

• Wearing steel-toed shoes

Work Environment

You’ll spend most of your time in a warehouse setting, using standard office and mechanical equipment. The role demands stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work through interruptions while maintaining safety and efficiency.
