Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Copier Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both IT and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot software and repair equipment in the field. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and a solid understanding of computer hardware and networking. As a Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our machines operate efficiently and effectively, providing top-notch service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform software troubleshooting to resolve technical issues for clients.
• Conduct field service visits to diagnose and repair equipment on-site.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Interpret schematics and technical documentation to assist in repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during each job.
• Provide support for hardware issues, ensuring optimal performance of copier systems.
• Assist with computer networking tasks, including setup and configuration of network devices.
• Stay updated on OEM specifications and best practices for equipment repair.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the IT or mechanical fields.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.
• Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of computer networking principles is highly desirable.
• Experience working with schematics and technical manuals is preferred.
